23 August 2007 - Raoul party !!!!

I think i had too much to drink last nite.. had 2 half glasses of champagne and felt quite ill an hour later.. was looking through my photos.. my face got redder and redder as the night progress..

Tip of the day : Don't take a photo with gorgeous looking people like Amber Chia coz you end up looking fat and ugly... had to cheer myself up by taking a pic with someone who is fatter than me !! Sorry L, for being such a b***h... hahaha

I liked the chocolate cakes a lot ( see photo )... i think i ate 3 pieces.. must have been standing in a bad feng-shui place for food.. coz the waiters bringing the trays of goodies hardly came my way.. was forced to hunt down and trail the ones with the yummy hor dourves so that i wouldn't go hungry... i know i know... that is not the behaviour of someone who is Tatler material.. i hope no one was observing !!!

There were a least 20 models parading Raoul's latest collection.. wow.. how come some people are born with such long legs... and mine are not ? Is Purple the "in" colour ? That's what the Raoul people think coz 3 quarters of their new collection is in purple.. drats.. i bought a new dress last week.. and i chose the one in green instead of purple.. too bad we don't have a return policy in Malaysia.. otherwise i will go make an exchange... i wanna look "in" !!!

22 August 2007 - Launch of BBC - Borneo Baruk Club at 1 Jalan Kia Peng ( opposite Hakka Restaurant )

Was impressed by the layout and the huge-ness of this place. Congrats on the successful opening of the restaurant/club and i hope it will be a huge success..

They had a modern gamelan band, and Sarawak dancers... a very hunky Mr Borneo flexing his huge muscles ( i am told that he is a Mr Malaysia finalist - refer to first photo) and the girls were swooning when he removed his loin cloth ( oohh lah lah ! )... 2 live monkeys.. a mini tropical jungle.. i liked the toilets... you get to see your neighbours do their stuff if you stick your head out far enough :o)

There was a buffet for guests... but you know why there was not enough food to go round ? Everytime the kitchen refills the trays.. there are half a dozen ah-bengs who will rush to the buffet table and pile their plates up with whatever food there is available to bring back to their tables.. i noticed that they did not finish the food in the end and lots of other people had to go hungry... is this our Malaysian culture or are club goers Ah Beng in their behaviour ?? Please please... improve your manners coz i don't wanna give foreigners a bad impression of Malaysians.

This place serves yummy sandwiches at very reasonable prices.

Anybody wanna join me there for a drink ?

02 July 2007 - Jean Richard dinner at Fukuya..

This event was different from the rest cause it was hosted in a Japanese restaurant ( the other are always in a fusion, italian or chinese but never before Japanese )... and the organisers held a "Clock in the Fastest time to win a MV Augusta jacket" competition... you are supposed to drive your motorbike through the F1 circuit.. with my poor hand to eye coordination.. my poor driver would have died if this is not a virtual game.. are there any prizes for those clocking the worst time ?

OK... am really tired cause i made more than 30 posts today !! Will upload my posts one by one before i leave the office... thanks for visiting my blog :o)

05 July 2007 - PAM Design Forum

I took the afternoon off and had to fork out $100 to attend this forum.. it was well worth it cause i got to meet the famous Made Wijaya who is a world renowned landscape architect..

The forum started after lunch.. you know that this is the worst time of the day to sit down and listen to someone give a presentation.. well.. was not surprised when someone who was sitting a few seats away snored so loudly that Mr Wijaya noticed and made a joke of it !

Mr Wijaya gave a talk on "Post Zen Depression"... i guess my eye is not trained in being able to recognise what is a good landscape and what is not.. but since he's won so many awards.. i guess i will listen to his opinion..
I had 2 non-design-related questions in my mind..

1) how come he's Australian... and obviously very white.. and he has a Indonesian name ? ( his original name is Michael White - at least he kept his initials )

2) The photo he has on the first page of his presentation was taken 15 years ago.. he did not take any photos in the past 1 year ? Since i am a self appointed paparazzi.. i will take a few photos for free if he gives me one of his books with his autograph !!! OK.. enough sarcasm.. will end this post now.

06 July 2007 - Chopard LUC

Was quite lucky to be invited to a small dinner hosted by Chopard LUC to view their latest models.

My watch enthusiast friends had a fabulous time "talking watch" for 4 hours straight. Trust me.. it is difficult to bring up other topics when this group of guys get together..

The dinner was held in Lai Po Heen, Mandarin Hotel.. i have to say that you don't exactly get value for money in this "posh" place.. ambience is so-so.. food is below expectations.. presentation is mediocre... prices are sky high.. anyways.. thanks for the generous invite.. we all had a good time :o)

It was a pleasure meeting our Chopard representative who speaks with passion about his watches.. his eyes light up with every word he utters describing the beauty of his masterpieces.. i've also had the honour of meeting his Dad ( from another brand ) when i went to the factory last year. He is also an expert on the art of haute horlogerie. Like father like son.

07 July 2007 - DATUM

It's that time of the year when architects get together for 2 days.. see what's happening around the world.. and to collect CPD points :o)

Congrats to the PAM committee for another well organised Forum..

I particularly enjoyed the talk by Ma Yansong and his Marilyn Monroe building.. that's incentive enough for me to make a trip to Ontario.. If only the flight time could be reduced to 4 hours or if i could afford business class tickets.. i'd be there in a jiffy..

10 July 2007 - Omega Porche Hour Vision Launch

To tell you the truth.. am not a big fan of this brand.. but i like Nicole Kidman who is one of the ambassadors of this brand.. would you buy a watch because your favourite actress is representing the brand ?

Well.. i must say that their new line is eye catching.. and if i'm not mistaken.. they made their own movement.. nothing wrong with ETA... but serious watch collectors ( i do not fall into this category ) prefer to purchase watches with in house movements.. a fine watch is a piece of art.. and it makes all the difference if Salvador Dali paints an original compared to copying one of Van Gogh's pieces..

11 July 2007 - Baronness Kennedy.. Legal Challenges in our Brave New World..

She read the entire speech from her notes.. i wonder why she did not just make copies of it to hand out.. i think i will understand it better if i have it in black and white in front of me.. did the Foundation pay her First Class air ticket to bring her here to read something verbatim from a text prepared by someone else ? I think i could have done a better job and will be happy with a Business Class ticket to Pangkor Laut as a reward :o)

I suppose she was too busy to prepare something to say from her heart or from experience.. actually.. she did say something which was not from her prepared text.. she kept praising our host ( Sultan Azlan ?? ) for his cleverness and his contribution to our country's progress... Hmmm...

And the contents of her speech.. hmmm.. i guess it was not memorable coz i don't recall what she said.. am i going to get into trouble for this post ? I risk being labeled "goblok blogger" !!

Oh.. i do remember catching a glimpse of our new Raja Muda's wife.. she looks pretty in person :o)

12 July 2007 - Dinner at Moriawase, Federal Hotel..

Popped over to my favourite Japanese restaurant after my much needed foot reflexology session at Liang Xin..

Some say Moriawase is the best Japanese restaurant in KL and serves the most authentic Jap food..

Ordered the kaiseki set.. you are always in for a surprise coz the dishes are not on the menu.. A picture tells a thousand words.. so i shall say no more..

16 July 2007 - KL's most eligible bachelor is married..

Attended one of my friend's wedding dinner in Shangrila Hotel tonight.. he is dear to me coz he introduced me to my MP whom i am currently dating :o) It was kinda weird coz the dinner's on a Monday evening.. most wedding banquets are held on a Saturday night.. and few on Sunday nights or Friday nights.. never before have i attended a Monday night dinner !! Maybe the feng-shui master said 16th July is the most lucky day based on their birthdates.. or maybe the couple could not book the ballroom of the hotel on a weekend.. nowadays you need to book 9 months in advanced if you want to get the date you want... there is such a big demand for these sorta events.. a event hall specifically designed for this sorta event will do well in KL !!!

Other than the fact that dinner started late ( if you invite royalty and VIPS.. always expect a one hour delay ! ) which is typical of Malaysian weddings.. the food was yummy.. every dish was served in individual plates.. our waiter was quite attentive.. and i enjoyed the choir which performed coz they sang some popular opera songs.. hmmm.. how come you did not invite my choir to sing ???? Also.. i liked the pinky red theme.. red lanterns, red door gifts, red wine, red, pink dress.. nice !!! And please do not ask when it's gonna be my turn.. taboo taboo taboo..

18 July 2007 - Sasso Rosso

Had dinner in this restaurant during an event before.. wanted to try it as a walk in customer.. so decided to pop by since i was in the neighbourhood..

The service is good.. and i enjoyed all my dishes except the "Bigoli all'anitra" which is a thick spagetti from the region of Veneto, cooked in duck broth and served with duck gizzard ragout in original Vicentina style. Yucks.... i hardly ate 2 bites.. but i asked my new found Italiano friend about it yesterday... and he said he likes this dish... I suppose it's something like Durian - it's an acquired taste..

The beef carpaccio, seared scallops and Parmigiana trio ( eggplant, zucchini, mushroom ) saved the day... we ended the meal with a warm dark chocolate flan and pannacotta and fresh plum poached in caramelised red wine..

22 August 2007 - Best Seafood Noodles in Town..

Am back.. took a break for lunch after updating my blog all morning.. just in case you're wondering.. my entire blog up to now was create this morning and i copied some entries over from my Friendster blog which i created yesterday..

Drove to Pong Kee restaurant which is just round the corner from my office.. the coffee shop is at the junction of Jalan Ipoh and Jalan Bernam and parking's a B***H in this area.. but the Parking Angel was looking after me today.. and a car pulled out just as i drove into the lane in front of the restaurant..

The lady taking the orders was quite curious of me because of my poor standard of speaking Chinese.. she kept asking if i'm Japanese or Korean to which i politely answered No.. and typical of locals who don't speak English.. she wanted to know why i do not speak Chinese.. i could have been rude and asked her why she does not speak English and tell her not to be a hypocrite.. but i was afraid she would add a generous helping of spit in my bowl of soup... so i decided to hold my tongue :o)

Anyways.. i like the noodles because of the clear soup which has lots of flavour... the noodles are soft and melt in the mouth.. and the seafood her is fresh.. they also serve seafood porridge and seafood with dry noodles. Since i'm into trying new things nowadays.. and life is about experiencing as much variety as possible.. i will hop over there another 2 times to try the other dishes..

18 July 2007 - The Kind and I Musical

I was quite kiasu and bought the tickets to this show as soon as i knew i was coming to town.. that was like 3 or 4 months ago.. was it worth the hurry... hmmm.. i guess i would have to say "NO!!"...

I was a bit too slow moving for my liking.. and there aren't a lot of famous songs that i could sing to.. i am one of those musical freaks.. will listen to a CD over and over again until i've memorised the words to the songs.. well.. i guess i used to be like that.. have not done it in years..

If you've been to Istana Budaya.. i'm sure you'd have complained that the seats are narrow.. it is worse if you are in the front row.. would have been even more uncomfortable if my legs were longer. It is no fun to sit front row.. but i bought my ticket over the internet.. and the "system" generates your ticket automatically.. isn't it silly that you don't get to choose where you want to sit even though you are one of the early birds ?? And the website did not confirm your booking immediately even though they take down your credit card number. You will get an email a few days later to confirm your booking. Is that weird or what ? Other ticketing agents are not like that so i guess it was just the Organisers of this event which was not so Organised ! Sometimes there is no advantage in being Kiasu !

Please excuse the badly taken photo.. am not supposed to take photos of the production.. it is not easy to take a photo when you think no one is watching and i did not have the luxury of focusing the lens properly..

19 July 2007 - Jung Won Korean Restaurant

I have been meaning to try the food at the restaurant for the longest time ever.. and since i was in the neighbourhood that day.. i pop in lunch time to give it a try..

They restaurant is housed in a bangalow next to Sayfol Interntational School at 255 Ampang Hilir.. The food is quite authentic and i know that because there were 2 other Korean couples dining there. A Korean wouldn't good to a restaurant which serves bad Korean food.. would they ?

I ordered the Bulgogi beef.. it was yummy.. they served me barley water which has a hint of ginger. That was yummy also :o)

There is a little playground outside the bangolow and there were 5 little boys enjoying themselves on the round-about. It's been a long time since i've been happy and carefree like that.. i suppose i am still happy and carefree now.. but it's a different feeling.. you know what i mean ? I used to look forward to Chinese New Year.. nowadays i don't.. well.. i kinda do.. coz i try to take advantage of the long vacation to go on an overseas trip.. why is this happening ? Is it because i am bored of the repetitive activities that take place year in year out ? My character is described in the header of this blog.. BOREDOM is my greatest fear !

If you want a bit of fresh air ( and we all know Korean BBQ does stink up your clothes ).. there is an outdoor section where you have a nice view of the pond... but you have to sit on the floor ( that is a no no for me coz i will get back ache ! ) and it's pretty hot outdoors during lunchtime.. i noticed there was a group of students having a meal outside despite the heat.. well.. i guess when you're young.. anything goes.. or maybe i'm just too fussy and difficult to please ???

21 July 2007 - Party at Don and Ita's

Firstly.. i'd like to thanks Don and Ita for hosting me in their lovely home.. and moving forward the get together by one day so that i can attend..

I enjoyed the yummy Balinese food which you catered.. the effort you guys put in to hire the tables and chairs and the flower arrangement really made the difference.. i guess Don always has to have things just right.. that's a good thing i suppose.. people should always set high standards otherwise there will be no progress in this world..

I also remember the conversation we had about family ties after the party.. what is family about ? are we always supposed to be there for each other ? What if they disappoint us or don't behave in a way that they are "supposed" to ? Do we tolerate ? Are we supposed to forgive and accept things the way they are ?

Well.. i guess at the end of the day.. we walk through this world alone.. we have people around us so the journey won't seem so lonely.. people come and people go... and if some people annoy you.. maybe a smaller dose of that person is a good thing ya...

Life has taught me that to be happy.. you need a good balance of all aspects of life..

1.health

2.finance

3.companionship

4.acivities

don't concentrate all your time on one aspect... a good balance is the secret to a life worth living.

25 July 2007 - Menopause Musical at The Actors Studio

I must say i had a good laugh.. despite arriving late because i thought i had tickets for the next day.. and there was miscommunication regarding the starting time of the show...

Despite the laugh.. i made me think about ageing.. no one is young forever.. in a few short years.. i will have to battle disease, obesity, hair loss.. the signs are showing already.. what can i do now, but enjoy each day to the fullest and keep a good record of my life so i can enjoy it a second time round when i look back at days gone by.. which i guess is one of the reasons i write this blog and the reason i take a million photographs everywhere i go.. so next time don't get agitated with me if i should lag behind to take a shot..

26 July 2007 - Anybody wanna buy batik fabric ?

It's a lot of work setting up a stall.. got to get a mannequin.. gotta find people to man the stall.. gotta book the stall.. got to transport the goods... packaging, pricing, timing ( better to do it on pay day.. given the Malaysian culture of spending everything the week our money comes in )..

So.. how do you like the stall ?

27 July 2007 - Sheraton Imperial is renovating !!

Attended a event to view the newly renovated rooms.. nice.. has a modern feel... don't like the lamps in the room though... spoils the effect of the room.. i liked the finishes.. the bed is Heavenly.. but i still prefer Westin's Heavenly bed and am saving up to buy one for my home :o)

After the viewing, we were served a buffet dinner.. and some of us watched "The Devil Wears Prada" whilst waiting for our foot rubs..

29 July 2007 - Sentidos Tapas - Cooking Class

Learnt how to cook 5 dishes today.. it was an afternoon well spent

- Scallops with cider vinegar butter sauce

- Prawn Pil Pil

- Spanish Bruschetta

- Tortilla Spinach

- Peppered beef

Come to think about it.. i am pro all things spanish.. my favourite painter is Salvador Dali.. and my favourite architect is Gaudi.. enjoyed my visit to Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona... and i love Spanish food.

OK.. back to the cooking class.. the Scallops cider was quite challenging as a first dish.. if the fire is too hot.. or if you don't stir the cider and vinegar long enough, the mixture will not bind properly.. and you end up having a layer of oil as the sauce. Prawn Pil Pil was simple enough.. i've since cooked this dish 3 times.. once i made the sauce just for the fun of it.. and another time i added Squid to the sauce.. Bruschetta is fairly simple.. and so is the tortilla.. i tried to cook the Peppered Beef at home.. strange.. the pepper did not stick to the beef... and most of it dropped off when i fried the beef... why is that ? Did i buy the wrong type of beef.. or i used the wrong type of ground pepper ?? Help help help...

Am going to start a Gourmet Club one day ( got this idea from my Purist friend - his wife has this group of friends.. they get together once a month.. each one cooks a gourmet dish.. and they share recipes after... ). I will be President.. and i'm sure most people just wanna join as the Food Sampler.. so i will end up cooking everything ! Hmmpphh...

3 August 2007 - Zeta Bar

Zeta Bar at Hilton Sentral is quite happening.. especially on Friday and Saturday nights.. Enjoyed the music played by their current Resident Band, Too3K.. although the ventilation could be improved.. i always smell like a ashtray everytime i step into Zeta Bar and will wash my hair no matter what time i arrive home!

Got myself 3 glitter tattoos which lasted 5 days ( yup.. have a tendency to "mandi kerbau" which explains the look of disgust my masseuse gives me everytime i go to the spa for a full body scrub )..

04 August 2007 - Dinner at Eest

Can i write negative comments on my blog ? Wanted to comment on the quality of food in this restaurant.. but i might get sued.. the service, however, was impeccable..

They served us ice cream on a ice bowl.. with cinnamon sticks and other spices embedded in it.. that's good idea ya.. it keeps the ice cream from melting.. and they do not need to wash the bowl after that.. can just chuck it away.. next time i have an ice cream party.. i will make lotsa ice-bowl-moulds..

04 August 2007 - Redza Piyadasa

Petronas Gallery did a tribute to Redza Piyadasa... well.. it was a stroke of luck ( or rather bad luck ) that i was there.. was supposed to attend another event.. that got cancelled.. and since i was in the neighbourhood.. i signed up for this talk.. advertisement posters were placed in the tunnel which connects the KLCC Convention Centre to Suria.. i walk through this tunnel several times a week.. but never paid any notice to it... i guess that describes my charater.. always rushing past life.. and not observant enough to appreciate the treasures that come my way..

Piya passed away 3 months ago.. he was gifted... not only as a painter..

"Redza Piyadasa (b. 1939), has played a number of roles in Malaysian art. Artist, critic, educator, his position has always been to nurture critical thought and self-reflection in local art practice. Crucially, he was a driving force behind the New Scene Movement, named after an exhibition at the National Art Gallery in 1969, which introduced more conceptual or “investigative” modes of art-making against existing trends. " - from Willie Valentine's website

Am glad i made time to attend this talk.. apparently pne of his paintings ( i forget which one.. but it could be the one i posted here "Seated Malay Girl" ) has been used as the cover of Reader's Digest. Wow.. what an honour.. i wish i could create something that someone would want to use as the cover of their magazine..

05 August 2007 - Cooking Class - Luk Yu Tea House

This is my 2nd cooking lesson in Starhill.. Can you believe i created this with my own hands ? OK OK... i got lots of help from the chef and his assistant.. and this is a photo of what the chef made.. but mine turned out "similar"... i swear !!!

We were supposed to decorate the Bean Curd Roll into the shape of a fan.. after all the food handling.. i kinda lost my appetite.. i am not big on hygiene so anyone who wants to eat my food.. BEWARE !

I also learned how to make Prawn Salad.. that's a much easier dish to make.. does not involve frying and everyone knows how i hate oil splatters.. don't wanna get marks on my milky white skin.. ah hem.. hahahaha... i have since made Prawn Salad twice.. coz Jusco had a special offer on Big White Prawns.. paid RM$1.69 per 100 grams.. is that supposed to be a good deal or i got suckered into buying 42 prawns last weekend ?

Ingredients for PanFried Vegetarian Bean Curd Roll with Oyster Sauce

20 g white fungus

5 g sea moss

5 g capsicum red

20 g mushroom sliced

20 g yellow fungus

30 g golden lily

1/2 piece bean curd skin

Preparation Method

1. Slice all the ingredients and fry together

2. Use the bean curd skin to wrap the ingredients

3. Pan fry

4. Simmer chicken stock and oyster sauce to make sauce

5. Boil Bak Choy. Use as garnish

21 August 2007 - MPO Birthday Bash...

Happy 10th Birthday to you dear MPO... thanks for giving me hours and hours of listening pleasure..
Had fun listening to the Peer Gynt Suite, Habanera and Peter and the Wolf last nite. And the musicians were dressed in their Reddish Family Fun Day outfits instead of the usual black. I snuck a photo in the Philharmonic Hall coz it was all decked up with balloons.. what a pretty sight. After that, the whole jing-jang-gang had dinner in Little Penang followed by drinks in 7@9. All in all it was a pleasant evening :o)

During dinner.. we were talking about how the MPO has a good reputation in European countries and is regarded as a world class orchestra.. it is one of Malaysia's best kept secrets.. this year being the 10th anniversary.. we were expecting a must-see-all-shows programme ( i.e. many international acts and famous people coming to grace our hall ).. however.. the Petronas Management decided to cut the budget.. and that means the MPO is performing the bulk of this season's programme..

Should we expect the Dewan Philharmonic to subsidise or cravings for watching famous people perform classical music or have they already done their bit and their money should be spent elsewhere ? Hmmm..

20 August 2007 - Ulysse Nardin

Made this post just now but it accidently got deleted. Now i gotta type it all over again!
Arrived early in Carcosa.. was the first guest to arrive in fact! Am normally late for appointments and i hope this is a turning point. A lot of things need to change if i want a better life. Thank goodness they have Wifi.. downloaded my mail and managed to surf quite a few sites whilst waiting for others to arrive.
Ulysse Nardin launched their new range called the Merdeka series... Is this your style ?

18 August 2007 - Philip Wain

Attended their 31st Anniversary event today.. they had lotsa fun activities like Body Art, Tarot Reading, Info Hunt and demos...
I got a Butterfly painted on my neck. Got quite a few positive comments. The Tarot Reading was the highlight of the afternoon. I asked the lady 2 questions.. she answered with insight and gave me hope that the future is not bleak...
This is a picture of my consultant May.. i think i've been a member of PW for more than 5 years already.. how time flies..

17 August 2007 - Mont Kiara Jazz Festival

Today's the first day of the Mont Kiara Jazz Festival.. there weren't as many people as i expected. The Sunrise management has renovated the fountain area... now they have squirts of water shooting out from the floor.. the children were having a good time and amusing themselves with the water..
Farid Ali and Zainal Abidin performed tonight... left during Zainal's first set cause it was getting late.. anyways.. i think i only know 1 of his songs - "Hijau"...

16 August 2007 - Prof Geoffrey Beattie - Being Single and Not Being Able to Mingle

The British Council hosted this event in Izzy. It's diagonally opposite Lot 10. Did not even know it existed even though i pass this road more than 3 times a week. Shows how observant i am !
Do you wanna know how to tell if someone is interested in you ? Professor Beattie who is by the way, the resident psychologist of the tv hit show Big Brother, taught us that if that someone mirrors you.. it is a strong indicator... so pick up your glass... is he/she doing the same ?
He also said that women give non verbal signals such as hair flicks, lick pouts ( Posh Spice style ) and leg crossing. Men make the first move but women control the pace of the relationship. You agree with him ?
Well.. he is a cool bloke. See you again when you're back in Malaysia.. and please remind me to get your autograph next time we meet.. i bought one of your books which was available in Kinokuniya !

13 August 2007 - Philip Kotler

I managed to get a ticket to attend his seminar after repititively pestering my boss to give me her seat... thanks boss... you're the best !!
I think i have paparazzi blood in me... took 80 photos of this seminar... every time he came near... out pops my camera.. those sitting at my side must have been annoyed.. i redeemed myself by emailing them photos :o)
I bought 5 books authored by this guru... and got him to autograph em.. was quite disappointed when the MC announched that each person is only allowed one autograph - she made this announcement after i made the purchase.. luckily he was nice enough to oblige :o)

MPH was quite clever to set up a booth to sell these books.. i suppose timing is more important than marketing ! Anybody wanna buy a marketing book authored and autographed by Philip Kotler ?

11 August 2007 - Object Poems art class..

Attended this art class from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.... Do you know Petronas Gallery organises educational classes on a weekly basis ?
We were supposed to create an object and drawings from the few poems that our teacher read. From "The Drizzle Grows" and "The Beringin Tree"... i made this ear ring tree... have always wanted a ear ring tree.. but in hindsight, i should have made the base more stable.. it wobbles everytime i hook on a ear ring to one of its branches !

07 August 2007 - HAPPI funds

Anyone know what a Structured Product is ??? Well.. Hong Leong organised a dinner talk in Hilton Sentral to educate its existing/potential customers...
I sat through the whole thing and came out feeling blurr.. i guess i will only invest in Capital Guaranteed products... or put whatever little funds i have in Fixed Deposits... or is this a good excuse to invest this month's salary in the sexy little handbag i saw in Starhill last week ? Hmmmm...

Welcome to my blog...

Hie dear Readers... was quite bored yesterday.. and decided to hop onto the blogging bandwagon.. have a Friendster blog but realised i can only post 50 photos a month.. and can't figure out how to turn on the Counter ( to log the number of visitors i have ).. so i decided to switch to Blogspot... does Blogspot have the similar constraints ? Well.. i'll find out soon..

Posting on a Blog is like making a new friend.. am not sure how much information i should share.. do i trust my readers not to use the information against me ? Will i expose myself to a dangerous situation where a complete stranger knows who i am and i easily get conned by him/her? I guess life is about taking risks.. so long as the risk is "calculated", i should be "safe"..
